Keynote Speakers
Satellite Thermal Control Overview and Challenges
Frederic Michard | Thales Alenia Space
Dr. Frederic Michard is a Thermal Expert at Thales Alenia Space (FR) a global space manufacturer delivering, high-tech solutions for telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructures. With more than 30 years dedicated to thermal engineering for space products, he had a major contribution to the design of new generation of antennas, payload electronic units, instruments and subsystems. In charge of R&D activity, he was particularly involved into the development, validation and qualification of innovative thermal control technologies dedicated to space applications such as composite material and mini two-phase fluidic components (Exchangers, Heat Pipe, Fluid loops…) in the frame of CNES or ESA projects.
